Advancements in Nano eNabler™ Technology: Pre-mounted SPT™ Print Cartridges

Dear Valued Customer:
I’d like to introduce you to a new advancement in Nano eNabler™ technology allowing system users the greatest freedom yet in complex patterning. BioForce Nanosciences is proud to offer pre-mounted surface patterning tools (SPT™).
The pre-mounted SPT™ print cartridge is an advance in the ease of use and precision for the Nano eNabler™ system. You may never again have to fumble with forceps to properly treat or position a SPT print cartridge. This will reduce accidental SPT breakage and save you valuable laboratory time that is better spent on investigation.
The pre-mounted SPT print cartridge has the following benefits:
- Precise placement of each and every SPT print cartridge. This will minimize variables such as tilt and alignment. In practice, this will translate to more consistent printing with both single and multiple cantilevered SPT print cartridges.
- Less effort will be required to position the laser on the cantilever. Since the SPT print cartridge is optimally positioned each time, the laser will need only fine adjustments. This represents a more user friendly interface while not having to sacrifice system sensitivity.
- The pre-mounted SPT print cartridge has been put through rigorous examination and designed to be resistant to ethanol, acetone, autoclaving, and UV exposure. The benefit for the user is that the pre-mounted SPT print cartridge remains a reusable tool. It may be cleaned with common solvents and treated with the ProCleaner™ (Formerly known as the UV Ozone Tip Cleaner) without fear of separation.
Upon receipt, please note the windows in the packaging. Prior to opening the package, you may examine each lever or group of levers under magnification. Following verification of each lever’s presence, the user may open the package. Opening the package involves peeling back a red piece of verification tape and separating the plastic clasp. At this point the verification tape will read “opened”. Opening the container constitutes acceptance of each lever being present. To remove a pre-mounted SPT print cartridge, please apply downward pressure with your thumb on the left hand side of the tool and then lift the right hand side of the tool with your forefinger. The SPT print cartridge will then safely slide out from its packaging.
To use the pre-mounted SPT print cartridge, simply treat with the ProCleaner™ unit to remove organic debris and render the surface hydrophilic, then load your sample(s) into the reservoir(s) and proceed as normal.
